Serving as a comprehensive digital repository, this platform empowers stage designers to upload and showcase their creative layouts to a global community of practical shooting enthusiasts. With its intuitive search functionality, users can effortlessly explore a diverse array of stages, filtering by specific criteria such as discipline, round count, and bay size. Moreover, this dynamic platform facilitates the download of stage designs, enabling users to seamlessly incorporate them into their match setups. Whether you're a seasoned stage designer or a newcomer seeking inspiration, MatchDirecting.App is your go-to resource for enriching your practical shooting experience.

I embarked on this journey with a deep commitment to creating a tool that would provide significant benefits to our practical shooting community. For me, it's not merely a project; it's a passionate endeavor aimed at elevating and enriching our collective match experience at all practical shooting matches.

With nearly a decade of involvement in the practical shooting sports, I've started and built IDPA, USPSA, and SCSA clubs. I hold the role of a CSO in IDPA and an RO in USPSA. Over the years, I've had the privilege of match directing numerous state championship matches and, by my best estimate, well over 100 local matches. This journey has given me unique insights into the challenges and opportunities within our community.

It is my hope this will serve three vital groups within our community:

1. Match Directors: Match Directors, who selflessly volunteer their time, invest countless hours each year to ensure we enjoy memorable matches. I envision this tool as their ally, saving them precious time and effort when designing stages for our matches.
2. New Match Directors: Many of our clubs struggle to find volunteers willing to organize matches, and some potential directors may feel overwhelmed by the task of stage design. My hope is that this tool will serve as a welcoming gateway, helping them take their first steps and making it easier to get involved.
3. Practical shooters attending our matches: Our community boasts some incredible stage designers, and I believe this tool can empower them to share their creativity with the rest of us. It's an opportunity to inspire the community with unique stage designs that break away from the typical club-style stages we've grown accustomed to. Ultimately, this will enrich our shooting experiences for all.
